LIGHTS. CAMERA. ACTION SHOT!!
Hi! Action Shot here!
So, due to losing the ability to make videos and record stuff properly, I've moved my analysis here! For those who don't know, I'm Action Shot! The admin here created me and lets me analyze My Little Pony episodes!
Let's get to it!
You see, I want to do my favorite arc: the Nightmare Moon arc!
”Boo!!! GET OFF THE STAGE!”
Uh… now, no need to get angry! I will tell you why I like the arc.
I have to agree that it sucked. The plot moved too quickly and some of the element tests were… dumb. Especially AJ’s. It didn't show her honesty at all.
I guess we should get into the framework of the episode…

We start off with Twilight being the introvert she is. She takes joy in being alone. Unfortunately, the show paints that out to be bad, and it sort of is. She is neglecting her friends and just studies. That seems more antisocial than anything.
Anyways, she is desperate to get to Celestia because she is convinced that the tale of the two sisters and the legend of the mare in the moon are real and connected. Celestia laughs her off and sends her to Ponyville to help set up the Summer Sun Celebration.
As she's setting everything up, she meets Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. We get some gags and giggles before the celebration is prepared.
Celestia is revealed to be gone with Nightmare Moon in her place. Everypony is terrified as the first villain claims she will make the night last forever then goes away.
Twilight rushes away to grab the elements and her five pests (soon to be friends) follow. They all get tests.
Pinkie laughs at the illusions Nightmare Moon creates with the trees.
Rainbow stays loyal after the Shadow Bolts offer her to join them.
Rarity generously gives her hair to a sea monster in distress.
Fluttershy is kind to a manticore.
Applejack… she tells Twilight to trust her. Don't get me started on this. It  isn't her being honest. It's her just forcing trust onto a pony. No. I would have prefered her to be suspected of lying and she proves her honestly.
The end comes quickly. The elements are found, Luna is freed, and Twilight stays in Ponyville.
I liked it because it gives an introduction to the show and the visual effects it has. It introduces the main plot and how the characters work.
I want to say it was the first actual episode I watched. I did tune in to Sisterhooves Social first but didn't pay attention.
That wraps it up! This has been Action Shot and that's the shot!!
New thing I'm doing. Analysis and all that.
So, yeah.
The preview picture is an actual screenshot from the show I colored over. Not too bad... I guess.
